Summary: A poem about a person hurts who someone and regrets it. They realize their feelings too late.

Ask no questions, follow me

I hope that you understand,
when you take my hand,
you’ll travel down a foreign path.
Listen to the words I say,
then I hope bestow your faith,
close your eyes as not to see.

Ask no questions,
follow me.

Every step that you will take,
is one that I will help you make,
step up to the edge of that cliff.
Know that I will take you there,
place your foot upon the air,
move forward as you take a leap.

Ask no questions,
follow me.

Downward watching you tumble,
laughing as you awkwardly fumble,
watching you pick up the pieces.
Your placing me with power,
pushed close your darkest hour,
I knew how gullible you would be.

Ask no questions,
follow me.

There’s nothing to you I can say,
as I watch in pain you lay,
except before me a path appears.
At the time an enormous mistake,
I did not see myself create,
emotions blossom faster than a weed.

Ask no questions,
follow me.

Loosely together you’ve been patched,
deciding time to close the hatch,
you’ve nailed shut the door.
Knowing I’m forever locked outside,
these tears for you I silently cry,
never knew the price such a high fee.

Ask no questions,
follow me.

Realizing a little bit too late,
just how much was on the stake,
the perfection that I know as you.
Trust is now forever gone,
I know now you have moved on,
I’ve lost you now completely.

Ask no questions,
dont follow me.
