Summary: Last night I wrote a long(er) short story for the prompt over at Weekend Wordsmith: It’s A Sign! This morning when I woke up I deleted almost everything. So this is short, but gets everything across imo. :D Signs. Ignore. Regrets. That pretty much summarizes it.

Signs

Life had been playing its sweet melodic tune on repeat for so long that the reality of the situation was hard for her to digest. The same beautiful record she had lived by suddenly skid to a screeching halt turning into a more haunting and persistent sound which made her feel uncomfortable. Instead of trying to deny that such an event could occur, if only she had paid attention, then perhaps the predicament could have been avoided. At least that’s what she continues to believe.
